Aftercare Products
At Kentora, we believe aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. Your skin goes through a healing and regeneration process after treatments such as microneedling and chemical peels, so using the correct products afterwards can make a significant difference to both your comfort and your results.
That’s why all of the products used within our treatments and aftercare packs are professional medical-grade skincare products, carefully selected to support healing safely, protect the skin barrier, and help you achieve the best possible results from your treatment.

Our aftercare packs include a gentle medical-grade facial cleanser, SPF protection, and professional post-procedure face masks to properly support your skin during recovery.
Keeping the skin clean after treatment is essential. Our cleanser helps remove dirt, excess oil, pollutants, and environmental oxidants that can contribute to skin damage and premature ageing, while still being gentle enough to protect the skin barrier during healing.
We also provide medical-grade SPF protection, as protecting the skin from UV damage is one of the most important parts of aftercare. I personally recommend reapplying SPF every 2 hours when exposed to direct daylight or sun exposure, even though some products may technically provide longer protection under ideal conditions.
Many people think SPF numbers relate to temperature or how strong the sun feels, but SPF actually refers to the approximate time your skin is protected before reapplication is needed:
SPF 15 = approximately 150 minutes
SPF 30 = approximately 300 minutes
SPF 50 = approximately 500 minutes
However, this timing is based on ideal testing conditions and correct application amounts. In everyday life, sweating, touching the face, exercise, swimming, driving, holidays, and prolonged sun exposure can all reduce protection, which is why regular reapplication is still strongly advised.
Most people also naturally under-apply SPF. For the face and neck alone, around two finger lengths of product is generally recommended to achieve the protection stated on the bottle.
If you’re unsure how much SPF you should be applying, we’ve created a short video on our YouTube channel to guide you through the correct amount and how to apply it properly to ensure your skin is fully protected.
Following treatment, we also provide the Juliette Armand Ameson Bio-Cellulose Mask within our aftercare packs. This professional post-procedure mask is specifically designed for compromised and healing skin following treatments such as microneedling and chemical peels.
The bio-cellulose material sits closely against the skin to help soothe irritation, reduce heat and redness, support hydration, and improve overall comfort during the healing process. The masks are individually sealed and hygienic, which is especially important within the first 24 hours after treatment when the skin barrier is temporarily more vulnerable.
Choosing professional medical-grade skincare over inexpensive supermarket alternatives is not simply about branding or price — it’s about safety, quality, formulation, and skin compatibility. Many cheaper skincare products can contain unnecessary fragrances, alcohols, fillers, or harsh preservatives that may irritate freshly treated or sensitive skin.
That doesn’t mean every over-the-counter product is harmful, but after advanced skin treatments it is always better to err on the side of caution. At Kentora, every product we use and recommend has been carefully chosen to support your skin safely throughout every stage of your treatment journey.

Microneedling creates thousands of tiny microchannels within the skin to stimulate collagen production and skin renewal. During this time, using sterile professional-grade products helps reduce the risk of irritation and introducing unwanted bacteria into the skin while the channels remain open. For chemical peels, the aftercare pack includes 3 days’ worth of calming recovery masks.
Following a peel, it is completely normal for the skin to feel tight, dry, and begin peeling as the old damaged skin sheds and new skin regenerates underneath. The masks help soothe irritation, reduce discomfort, support hydration, and improve skin recovery during this process
